He was predeceased by: his parents, Guiseppe Matz and Christina Matz (Longo). He is survived by: his sisters, Domenica Poproc and Jean Vito; his wife Alice Morris; his children, Joseph Matz, Jr. (Cindy) and Melissa Stauffer (Greg); and his grandchildren, Miranda, Marcus Matz and Noah Stauffer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer Association.
