Elaine S. Thomas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine S. Thomas of Drums, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Elaine leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Opiary and Helen Opiary (Marinko); and her brothers, Richard and Johnny Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Leo Thomas; her brother Thomas (Phyllis Opiary-Drums); her nephew Thomas; and her great-nieces, Alyssa and Kristen.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church (898 Centre St, Freeland, PA 18224). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
