He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus W. Spaide and Jessie Spaide (Domanski); and his former wife Dorothy "Dottie" J. Knorr. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Van Houten (Silver); his sister Rita Pozza; his nieces, Christine Getz (Louis), Denise Smith (Todd) and Beth Smith (Christopher); his great-nieces, Brittany Winder, Miriah and Bellah Getz; his stepdaughters, Danielle Bernstein (Rick), Lauren Bechtel and Diana Van Houten (Sean Orner); his stepgrandchildren, Victoria Rose, Grace Florence Bernstein, Ava Rose and Erik Jon Bechtel; and also, Caden and Brady Winder.
