He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Patricia Mitchell, Elizabeth Knowlton (Robert), Barbara Del Duke (Mark) and Thomas F. Carroll, Jr. (Cynthia). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and one great grandson.
