He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Carter and Bernadette Carter (Burnley); and his grandparents, Del and Mary Burnley. He is survived by: his children, Maddy Rose Carter and Gavin Carter; his sister Maureen "Renie" Roby (Michael); his uncle Gary; his aunt Maureen Heslin; his nieces and nephews, Allison, Matthew and Kayleigh Roby; and his cousins, Lindsay and Brian Eury. He is also survived by friends as well as all the dear friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ronald Carter's name to the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital at 3900 Woodland Avenue Philadelphia, PA. 19104.
