He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonse Donato and Anna Donato; and his son Robert Donato. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Donato; his children, Richard A. Donato, Jr., Marian Tirri (William), Lisa O'Keefe (William), Joseph Donato (Lynne) and Krista Graham (William); and his sister Norita Donato. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
