She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sailer and Mary Eleanor Sailer (La Follette). She is survived by: her husband John R. Spano; her children, James A. Spano (Karen), Jennifer S. Kalish (Leonard), Rebecca L. Spano and Mark T. Spano (Melinda); and her grandchildren, Hayden, Brooklynn, Jackson and Dean.

“Dave and I send want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mary will truly be missed by the many people whose lives she touched. She was a person of kindness, thoughtfulness, fun and inspiration. I remember all our wonderful Girl Scout adventures from collecting coupons to hiking and cooking in the woods. Though I have not seen her for many years, I always would think of her and our fun times. Dave and I will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers”
