She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Stewart; her parents, Catherine O'Kane and John O'Kane; and her son William Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Frank Stewart (Diane), Joseph Stewart (Wendy), Kevin Stewart (Lori) and Debbie Stewart (Bob); and her brother Jack O'Kane (Millie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
