She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Aloysius and Margaret Bernadette McGowan; her husband Dr. Joseph Gordon "Flash"; and her sisters, Eileen Duffy (Bill) and Teresa McGettigan (late John).
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Liberatoscioli (Dennis), John McCullough (Leeann), Leo McCullough and Kate McCullough; her grandchildren, Danielle, Dante, Conner, Brandon and Colin; her stepdaughters, Deboroh Ann Gordon and Janet Gordon-Thatcher (Dennis); and her siblings, Joseph McGowan (Linda), Lynn Maslo (Tom), Anne Sweeney (late Bill) and Maryjo McGowan (Paul Pickens). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
