She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Lee Underwood and James DeVaughn; her grandmother Maggie Jane Underwood; her husband Robert H. Stephens (Steve); her brother Hilton Underwood; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Patterson, Mable Simmons, Florita Stephens-Saunders and Jeanette Underwood.
She is survived by: her stepfather Walter McKyer; her brothers-in-law, Arthur Stephens, Henry Patterson, Sr., Ary Simmons, Albert Jones and Clarence Jones; her son-in-law Kenneth Brown; her sons, Jerome Stephens (Pamela) of Houston Texas, Marvin Stephens of Middletown and Kevin Stephens (Vanessa) of Bear Delaware; her grandchildren, Veronica Whitted (Rogers) of Philadelphia, PA, Sonya Renee Stephens (Ken) of Colwyn, PA, Barbara Davis (Tom) of Middletown and Lynell Stephens-Gayle of Sharon Hill, PA.; her siblings, Charles Underwood (Jeanette) of Sunrise, FL. and Evelyn Jones (Clarence) of Salem; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Underwood of Elkton and Eadè Underwood of Philadelphia, PA.. She is also survived by her family, friends, church family, neighbors.
