He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Toenniessen and Mildred Toenniessen (Lash); his brother Rodney Toenniessen; his wife Joan; and his children, Linda DeGothseir (William), Katie Toenniessen Innes (Peter), Mat Toenniessen (Kimberly) and JoAnna Toenniessen Gleisner. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
