He was predeceased by: his brother James R. Scales, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph H. Scales and Janet F. Scales; and his siblings, Susan Morgera (John), Eileen Zacckey (Mark) and Michael Scales. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
