He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Waddell (Faith); and his parents, Joseph Howard, Sr. and Bertha Waddell (Macbeth). He is survived by: his sons, Douglas T. and Jeffrey S. (Nancy) of Portsmouth, RI; his grandchildren, Jeffrey S., Jr. of Wakefield, RI and Ashley N. Hopkins of South Hamilton, MA; and his great grandchildren, Amelie Faith Hopkins, Taylor Marie Waddell and Dylan Jeffrey Waddell.
