It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Millard Spencer (Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John Millard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Jean Carol; his daughters, Lu-Anne Spencer Hartle and Pam Dransfeldt (Steve); and his brother Don. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Jack dealt the harsh effects of Alzheimer's in his later years. He wanted to help others experiencing the progressive disease and participated in an Alzheimer's research program for several years.
