He was predeceased by: his sister Margie Hollinger. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. McGarry; his children, Jon C. McGarry (Heather), Daniel P. McGarry (Michele), Christopher M. McGarry (Rita) and Amy M. Connolly (Daniel); his brother Tony McGarry; and his grandsons, Micheal, Chase, Shane, Liam, Damien, Logan, Holden, Luke and Paxton.

In lieu of flowers donation's in John's memory to St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania 19026, would be appreciated.
