It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Cherry of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fenton Hibbs and Marion Fraser Hibbs; and her husband Marvin R. Cherry. She is survived by: her children, Robert R. (Krista), Daniel E. (Amy) and Debra J. Pindell (Timothy); and her granddaughters, Meghan and Kristen. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and grand dogs.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Drexel Hill United Methodist Church, 600 Burmont Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.

I knew Joan when I was a member of DHUMC; while we became friendly in the later years, I remember when I joined the church as a young girl and Joan was in school for nursing. I remember Joan as an extremely strong person, who was dedicated to her church and loved her family more than life itself.
