He was predeceased by: his parents, Sinclair Carroll and Izola Carroll; and his daughter Stacey Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Germaine N. Carroll; and his children, Parker Carroll (Mary) and Devon Johnson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
