It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lois Shields of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Shields and Helen Shields; her brother Robert; and her nephew Sean Shields. She is survived by: her siblings, John and Dottie; her nieces, Cheryl Vassallo (Lou), Melissa Slifer (Tim) and Katie Shields (Nate); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Louis Vassallo, Jr., Brianna Vassallo, Jaiden Slifer, Mclaren Slifer and Caelie Slifer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104, would be appreciated.
