With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Johnson of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Morton and Albert Oliver Johnson; her sister Alberta Johnson; and her nieces, Lisa Johnson, Ramona Sanders and Freda Wilson.
She is survived by: her close friend George Bodine; her sisters, Charmaine Dorsey, Brenda Bayard and Alfreda Wilson; and her nieces and nephews, Juanita Dorsey, Monica Dorsey, Norman Bayard, Tracy Nicole Haswell, David Wilson, Cher Wilson and Richard Wilson.
At the time of her passing, she was employed at St. Joseph's Villa, where she was a front-line healthcare worker who cared for retired priests, even knowing the risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
