He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Gootee and Edwards Gootee; his brother Robert; and his stepson Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his daughters, Jennifer, Janelle and Carletti Anne; his sister Gay Richards (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jesse, Jack and Julia.
