He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gilligan and Mary Gilligan (Reilly); his granddaughter Madelyn; his stepson Michael; and his brother Charlie Gilligan.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly A. Gilligan (Gillen); his children, Donna Gilligan, Anthony Maggitti (Colleen), Gina Rafter (Eric), Joey Maggitti and Andrea Maggitti; his stepsons, Frankie and Mark; his grandchildren, Daniel, Cameron, Anthony Jr., Annabella, Rocco, Cecilia, Shaun, Caleb, Ainsley, Giuliano, Joey, Asher, Gabriel and David; and his sister Pat Pendergast.
