It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelo J. Vitanza of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Atlantic, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Vitanza and Pauline Vitanza (Lagana); and his wife Helen Vitanza (Primavera). He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Driscoll, Joan Sullivan and Helen Rowland (Michael); and his grandchildren, Regina David, Bob Driscoll, Joseph Driscoll, Jennifer Kelly, Matt Sullivan, Tim Sullivan, Michele Swisher, Jessie Sanders and Christina Slate. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
