Carmella Flood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmella Flood of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Carmella farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carmella is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred DeStefano and Rose DeStefano; her husband Paul W. Flood; her son Lawrence Flood (Laura); and her sister Catherine "Cookie" Souza.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Downey (Jim), Margaret Manley (Mark) and Mary Egleston (Glenn); and her brother Ralph DeStefano. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 plus 3 bonus great-grandchildren.
