It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Anne Merkel (Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania), born in Maple Shade, New Jersey, who passed away on March 20, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Charles R. Merkel; her sibling James Murray; and her parents, Harry Murray and Anna Murray. She is survived by: her children, Charles M., Thomas A. (Kelly) and Timothy I.; her grandchildren, Kara, Sean and Anna; and her siblings, Robert Murray and Harriet Murray.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Barbara's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
