She was predeceased by: her husband Richard M. Gower; her parents, Esmond Beamish and Eva Priscilla Beamish (Spice); and her siblings, Elizabeth Taylor, Dorothea Zochodne, Grace Wood, Catherine Lord and William Beamish.

She is survived by: her children, Geoffrey M. Gower (Audrey), Janet E. DeTuro (Sam) and Andrea S. Conte (Vincent); and her grandchildren, R. Cameron Gower, Emily Gower, Matthew Conte, Christopher Conte and Andrew Conte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
