He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Palmieri (Plunkett); his parents, Daniel Palmieri and Geraldine "Jenny" Palmieri (Visciei); and his sisters, Antoinette Ferrino and Marie Lombardini.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Petrillo (Michael), Carol James (Arturo), Anita Palmieri and Daniel Palmieri, Jr. (Judith Ann); his grandchildren, Michael III, Brandon, Gregory, Patrick, Alexandra, Bradley, Daniel III, Nicole, Kyle and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Margo and Ben.
