We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Valerie Gallagher of Dravosburg, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Kanyak and Isabel Shoaf Kanyak (Shoaf); her brother Stephen Kanyak; and her close friends, Janice Kanyak and Lori Falchetti.

She is survived by: her daughters, April Cislo Banks of West Mifflin and Amber Saunders (Josh) of Irwin; her stepson Ryan Gallagher of West Mifflin; her grandchildren, Baylee Banks, Joshua Saunders and Adalynn Saunders; her husband Richard Gallagher of West Mifflin; and her close friend Mary Eversole of White Oak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
