She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Schlessinger and Clara Schlessinger (Belles); her husband John Christian Burd; her grandson Cade Stevens; her siblings, Viola "Bella" Grubb, James Verras, Anthony Verras, Edward Schlessinger and David Schlessinger; and her stepmother Glenna Schlessinger.
She is survived by: her children, Sheree Kapusta (John) of Port Vue, William Stevens (Pam) of New Alexandria, Becky Reeder (Stephen) of Boise, ID and Edward Stevens (Heather) of Latrobe; her stepson Harry "Corky" Stevens (Roseann) of White Oak; her grandchildren, Carrie Betters (Justin), John Kapusta (Alicia), Casey Stevens, William, Edward Stevens, Katelyn Stevens, Craig Stevens, Chelsea Stevens, Dylan Reeder, Grant Reeder, Brandon Stevens and K. Leigh Stevens; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Jacob Betters, Aiden, Cole Kapusta and Edward Stevens III. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
