She is survived by: her children, Michael Simmons (Ann Marie), Tawnya Simmons, Christoper Simmons (Ruth) and Angel (Pernell) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Danté, Christina, Daryn, Destinee, Da'Naysha, Jade, Tat and Talayshaa. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
