He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Lapp, and Dorothy M. Lapp, Sr. (Thoma); his former wife Deborah Lapp (Geiser); and his siblings, Robert E. Lapp, Jr. and Sharon Ruszeki.

He is survived by: his spouse Kim Neff (Hollis); his child Chris Miller (Christie); his granddaughter Scarlett; and his siblings, Dorothy Stollar-Lapp (Bill), Norbert Lapp (Lou), Mary Ostermeyer and Kathy Tichenor (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
