He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Friedgut and Harry Friedgut. He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Freedgood; his children, Barbara Freedgood, Elaine Freedgood and Marc Freedgood; his grandchildren, Misha Lopato, Naomi Lopato, Natalie Freedgood and Alex Freedgood; and his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Nicholson and Ruth Janjic. He is also survived by six step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
