She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvan Carr and Bessie Carr (Goodman); her husband John C. Benson, Jr.; and her sibling Sylvan Carr. She is survived by: her son John S. Benson; her grandsons, Jack and Carter Benson; and her sister-in-law Jane Glass (late Bart).
