She was predeceased by: her parent Randall Y. Nelson. She is survived by: her parent Gladys Nelson; her sisters, Gene Nelson Herndon of Burke, VA and Nancy; and also, Gladys and Louis. She is also survived by her daughter, the Reverend Nancy J. Benson-Nicol of Austin, TX; her twin sister.
