She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Pappalardo and Ester Bontempo Pappalardo; her brother Vincent Pappalardo; and her husband Jack Anthony Artale. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Artale Mangano (Alfio), Mary Artale Diercksen (Warren Diercksen), Catherine Artale Mercer, Walter Scott Mercer and Anthony Artale (Beverly Johnson Artale); her grandsons, Nathan Mangano and Matthew Mangano (Nicole Lodge Mangano); and her children, Diana Diercksen Russ (Adam Russ), Paul Diercksen (Kristen McCue Diercksen), Alyssa Diercksen Hellyer (Brenden Hellyer), Leanne Diercksen Lepore (Paul Lepore), Angela Mercer McCullom (Lucas McCullom), Brian Mercer (Jennifer Wiley Mercer), Laura Mercer Bain (Brian Bain), Jonathan Artale, Michael Artale, Nicolas Artale, Annalisa Artale Manuel (Nicholas Manuel) and Daniel Artale. She is also survived by twenty-five beautiful great-grandchildren.
