It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madeleine Charlotte Wherrity of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hamilton and Charlotte Hamilton; her former husband James Wherrity; her sons, Gary and Robert Wherrity; and her siblings, Frank Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Sr., Janet Gorey and Nancy Baldwin.
She is survived by: her children, John Wherrity (Cynthia), Denise Henning (Robert), Bruce Wherrity and Joyce Manion (Thomas); and her daughters-in-law, Carol and Dawn Wherrity. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and children.
