He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Larry" Spence and Bertha Spence (Brooks). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Spence (Whittock); and his daughters, Lisa Armstrong Zimmerman (Spence) and Lynne Schwass (Spence). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
