It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela O'Connell of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elbert Newton Cabe and Rosalind Moore Cabe; her daughter Caroline O'Connell; her son-in-law Dr. Matthew Schultz; her granddaughters, Jillian Cabe Sinton, Annelise O'Connell Sinton and Olivia Zaremba Schultz; her husband Robert Philip O'Connell; and her son Hugh Daniel O'Connell.
In lieu of flowers, Lela would like to be remembered by donations to an animal welfare organization in the giver's locality.
