She was predeceased by: her parents, John Friel and Pat Friel. She is survived by: her children, Brigid and Myron; her siblings, Joseph Friel (Beth), Christine Friel (Nicholas Roy) and Rev. David Friel; her nieces and nephews, Corinne, Abigail, Michael, Maya, Daniel, Mary and Noah; her aunt Peggy Murphy; and her cousins, Lynn and Kelly Ann. She is also survived by her husband and her children.
