He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Burns and Jane Burns; and his brothers, James and Thomas Burns. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Burns; his children, Robert Burns (Debra), Catherine Stetto (Robert), Michael Burns, Patricia DiIenno (Dominic), Caroline Biancaniello (John), Michelle Gallagher (Stephen) and Theresa Pyrih (Mark); and his brother John Burns. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
