It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Shire Jr. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Jack and Renie; his siblings, Kathy (Don), Tim (RoseMarie) and Jim (Therese); his nieces and nephews, Katie (James), Amanda, Patrick, Carly, Ben, Elizabeth and Dan; and his siblings, Karen and Patrick.

In lieu of flowers we are asking for a donation in Jack's memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

“Jack, was a wonderful human being who leaves us much to soon. I worked with Jack, at the Wycombe Inn, many years ago. He helped me learn the ropes In the restaurant business. Always kind, and willing to share and made you laugh as the shift went on. His following loved him. A character like no other, always charming, funny and rarely did you see him flustered. I would run into Jack at Marsha Browns, later Calebs and even Chick fillet in Montgomeryville. Jack will be sorely missed. RIP JACK”
