With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Francis Helm (Doylestown, Pennsylvania), born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Theresa Valentino Helm; and his parents, Francis T. Helm and Margaretta Mahan Helm. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Braun Gallagher Helm; and his stepchildren, John "Jack" Helm Jr. (Susan), Stephen Helm of Mechanicsville, PA, Maura Duncan (James) of Doylestown, Joyce Cooney (Brian) of Doylestown, Erin Volko (Michael) of Pipersville and Joseph Gallagher (Nancy) of Doylestown. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

“Dear joyce, this is jere (and brenda) from po box 2, mechanicsville. With all the virus news, it wasn't until a few days ago that brenda found jack's obituary. We are both very sorry for your loss. I'm not sure if you remember i am a volunteer chaplain at doylestown hospital. I visited jack in february (?) this year because he was assigned to my floor. I introduced myself and we had a nice discussion where we both agreed you were the best wife anyone could wish for. I just wanted you to know!”
