He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Finnegan (Manning); his parents, John S. Finnegan and Catherine A. Finnegan (McDevitt); his son Richard Finnegan; and his sisters, Catherine "Kitty" Ward and Patricia "Pat" Petro.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Finnegan (Jill) of Perkasie, Kathleen Lazaunikas (Thomas) of Perkasie, Keith Finnegan (Patricia Courtney) of Sellersville, Kerry Duckworth (Mark) of Perkasie and Sean Finnegan (Sandra) of Sellersville; his grandchildren, Andrew, Catherine, Geoffrey, Hannah, Olivia, Emily, Hailey, Patrick, Colin and Aidan; and his great grandchildren, Lyla, Rogan and Sabrina.
