He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia C. Bean; and his parents, J. Donald Bean and Alfreda Reams Bean. He is survived by: his children, Laurie Linke of Perkasie, Michelle Keyte of Hatfield and David Bean of Doylestown; his grandchildren, Brandon, Kylie Linke, Jimmy, Diana Keyte, Shannon and Ashlynn Bean; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Julian Linke.
