He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alma Banta and Ed Banta; his children, Jeri Di Girolamo (John) and Autumn Banta (Michael); his grandchild Jack; and his siblings, Alma Simakowicz (Gene), Clare Clark (Ray), Stephen Banta (Paras) and Mary Madeline. He was also cherished by three nieces and five nephews.
