He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Clougherty and Alice Clougherty; his sibling Coleman Clougherty (late Peggy); and his wife Nathalie Clougherty (Wentworth). He is survived by: his wife Joan Clougherty (Peppelman); his sibling Edward Clougherty; his children, Mary Comeau, Alfred (Shelly), Michael, Timothy (Crissy Torres), Paul and Danny (James); his grandchildren, Debbie, Warren, Gregory, Samantha (Nate), Bryan, Nicole, Nathalie and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Alexis, Emily and Sydney; his brother Leo Clougherty (Marie); and his sister-in-law Mary Clougherty.
