He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Duerr and Klara Schick Duerr; and his siblings, Walter Duerr and Charlotte Hug. He is survived by: his wife Ann I. Dietrich Duerr; his sons, Erich Duerr and Rolf Duerr; his siblings, Wolfgang Duerr, Hanna Desparates, Barbara Guembel and Susanne Olariu; and his grandchildren, Alexander and Andreas Duerr.
