He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Hastings (Howard); and his siblings, Richard P. Hastings Jr. and Marilyn Mowday. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Hastings (Morris); his father Richard P. Hastings Sr. of West Chester; and his daughter Emily Hastings of Downingtown.
