He is survived by: his children, Debbie McCauley (Tim) of Mascoutah, IL, Robert Jr (Julie) of Stockbridge, GA, Kim Tolley (Ron) of Elverson and Brent Mertz (Dawn) of Coatesville; and his siblings, Ralph Mertz (Dollie), Ronald Mertz (Barbara) and Rugene Caldwell (Bob).
