He is survived by: his siblings, James Francis Connor, III, Robert Michael Connor and Carol Lamb; his children, Richard Thomas Connor, Jr. (Tammy) of Cedar Bluff, VA and Stephanie Hickman of Clearwater, FL.; his grandsons, Justin Connor (Tabitha), Jeremy Connor (Brittnee), Joshua Connor, Jared Lyons (Ashley) and Ben Lyons; his great grandchildren, Jacob Lyons and Annabelle; and his half-sister Catherine Warren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
