He was predeceased by: his father Michael L. Smith; his grandparents, Les, Thelma Smith, Joseph and Elizabeth Gosselin; and his uncle Dr. Thomas Gosselin.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret M. Gosselin Smith; his brothers, Brian E. Smith (Jessica) and Sean A. Smith; and his aunts, Pam Ball (Bob), Cheryl Hargaden, Stephanie Low, Valerie Waters (Chris), Jennifer Schwartz (Stephen) and Diane Knapp (Jerry).
